We have put together 6 different wine tasting programmes with 6-7 wines per theme.
Theme 1: the world’s most popular grapes. Cross-tasting of European, and wines from overseas such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Theme 2: When red wines from Rhône meet Italian red wine, and classical French wines from the Rhône district such as Gigondas meet the Italian red wine such as Chianti and Amarone.
Theme 3: Australian and New Zealand. Why do wines from down under have such a fruity taste? Does a Pinot Noir from Australia have the same quality as a Bourgogne?
Theme 4: Classical wines for food. For this particular theme, we are experimenting to see which wines suit the different kind of food. Can you drink a German white wine to Danish open sandwiches
Theme 5: Wines for parties. For this theme, we are trying everything from Champagne, white wine from Bourgogne, red wine from Bordeaux, Napa Valley, and Rioja to dessert wine from all over the world.
Theme 6: France compared to the rest of the world. Can French wine keep other wines at a distance in relation to price and quality? For this theme, we taste top wine from France right down to wines from small vineyards in Australia.
