On Schæffergården we will do everything we can to create good experiences for our guests. We know that our guests often have a tight schedule, to get the most out of a meeting, and that’s why we now offer Motivating Meetings in cooperation with CoastZone A/S among others.
Motivating Meetings is a philosophy that can give you an even greater return on your meetings.
The reason is simple: Any meeting of a company holds an investment: First and foremost in employees' time and lost productivity, but often also for meeting rooms, food and beverage, transportation and others. The idea is to get the most benefit from the investment, and that is the purpose of Motivating Meetings.
We use the theory of the human learner to create more understanding, more energy and greater return of a meeting. Director of Motivating Meetings, Brian Christiansen, explains:
"We organize the meeting in collaboration with the company, so activities and settings work optimally with the purpose of the meeting. It is about bringing more senses into play, because when someone feels a message, it becomes an experience that is easier remembered, than if just heard and seen."
Motivating Meetings can occur as a small happening in a meeting or as a prolonged process that fills the day. Common for all are that everyone can participate regardless of physical ability, courage and attitude.
"We ask for the purpose of the meeting and ajust the event to fit it. Should the company, for example, work with targets, then we will make a small practical exercise to assure what it means, that everyone knows and understands what the goal is, when a task should be solved. It’s an exercise were you can feel and understand and get the participants to laugh or get the feeling of success. That is something which helps anchor the messages and gives the meeting a greater profit,"says Brian Christiansen.
