Schæffergården is unlike any other traditionel hotel. If you are a frequent traveller and have chosen to stay at Schæffergården and wake up after a good night’s sleep, you are in no doubt that you are in Copenhagen at Schæffergaarden – that’s reassuring. Schæffergården is a good base, if you are visiting Copenhagen and don’t want to live in the centre of the noisy town but prefer the tranquil surroundings but still in a central location.

We are close to highways E47 and E55, Jægersborg train station with connection to the centre of Copenhagen. Schæffergården has a large parkingarea - free of charge.

Our hotel rooms are furnished with Danish handmade furniture created by Hans Jørgen Wegner, Kåre Klint and Børge Mogensen. Individual works of Danish art decorates the rooms.

We have 50 double rooms, 20 of which have a balcony, 2 spacious suites and 22 single rooms in the wings of the Hunting Lodge.

A spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, shampoo, conditioner, soap and paper handkerchiefs.
